About the artist

Born in Corsica in 1960, I was named after my grand-mother, Adélaïde.Several years later, my encounter with an artist was the determining factor in sending me down the path of creativity.All art is a form of communication, painting came to me as the most natural and sensitive form of expression.In figurative or stylistic art, I am primarily interested in contact with the matter (paint) which I can choose to work either using a knife or directly with my fingers. Pallete in hand, the colours take shape and are set in motion. This technique creates a privileged link to the matter.Whatever the subject -still-life or portrait- emotion and energy burst forth with equal force.If I can induce pleasure or happiness through my work, then this is my ultimate reward.
