Description
In a warm and intimate atmosphere, the late autumn evening table is delicately decorated with an inkwell and a quill, witnesses of a bygone era. In the flickering light of the candle, the cracked walnuts add a rustic touch to this hushed scene. A pile of old books, with yellowed pages and gold-adorned covers, stands proudly, inviting contemplation and the discovery of forgotten stories. This nostalgic atmosphere, where each object tells a story, creates a haven of peace conducive to reflection and creativity, as autumn slowly settles outside. The crackling of the flame and the scent of dried fruits combine to compose an unforgettable evening, rich in inspiration and sweetness.
About the artist
Born in the sunny south of France, Edith Mary G nurtured a passion for drawing from a young age. Her thirst for learning art pushed her to explore the avenues of creation, leading her to leave her native region to join the vibrant French capital. There, she studied at the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne, a decisive step that marked the beginning of her career in the world of fashion.
Her talent and determination propelled her into the fascinating world of television, where she had the opportunity to work alongside Laurent Boyer on the set of "Graine de Star". She became the official stylist of the "Poetic Lover", for whom she designed the costumes for their latest album.
Despite her success in fashion, Edith Mary G felt the need to get away from the hustle and bustle of showbiz. She opted for a career as an executive assistant in a luxury fashion magazine, collaborating with the great Haute Couture houses while cultivating her passion for art and writing.
In 1997, Edith Mary G ventured into entrepreneurship by opening her first flower shop, a resounding success that encouraged her to founding other decoration and import-export companies, with trips to Asia to enrich her collection and her spirit.
It was only in 2006, after a difficult personal separation, that she found a second wind with the man of her life. Together, they founded a new thriving company. This partnership not only consolidated her professional success, but also enriched her personal life with the birth of their daughter.
The 2020 pandemic put a stop to some of her activities, but thanks to her resilience, Edith Mary G has found new paths by becoming an executive assistant and getting involved in education to help children in difficulty.
Now, rooted in the South of France, she feels the irresistible call to return to her first loves, art and writing, drawing on her life experiences to nourish her creativity. With her knowledge and her experience, she is ready to conquer the art world with her new works.
