About the artist

I practiced drawing for many years, particularly by doing many portraits of artists or female nudes. I also drew a significant number of caricatures of famous people. And then naturally I turned to acrylic painting on canvas. I have been painting for a dozen years. I took classes for this in Toulouse. Currently it is with a well-known painter (Mr Serge Armarguer not to name him) that I continue my training. Despite everything, I have a favorite field. It is painting in its abstract form that attracts me by the possibility it offers to discover the marvelous doors of one's imagination boosted by one's own artistic sensitivity and by the perception that one has of one's own experience and the many external stimuli that one perceives. Which did not prevent me from turning to the reproduction of works (Street Art, Figurative, Abstract etc ...) After having thus captured all the ways of painting of certain artists I chose personal creation which led me therefore to the abstract. When I paint in my studio I often listen to certain pieces of music that are sometimes a bit of a revelation. (I am of course thinking of Pink Floyd but not only). I was born in Toulouse (Haute Garonne) in 1950. It was in 2015 that I migrated to the Tarn near Albi, this city with many assets, so beautiful and so human, not to mention its majestic cathedral where we become aware that we are very small beings. All this reminds us that our universe is indeed made up of the infinitely large and the infinitely small that have been so well highlighted by geniuses like Einstein or the philosopher Pascal.

Let's become more realistic and more concrete. I hope you enjoy your visit to my site and let yourself be tempted by the beauty of Art in general and why not by acquiring a painting by your humble servant. These are acquisitions that remain and give character to your interior, to your "sweet home" and which thus personalize the cocooning side of your favorite rooms.

Best regards.
