Description
This painting by Sako, Serge Armagan is a true immersion in the power and majesty of the ocean. The wave, captured in full motion, displays its shades of emerald green and deep blue, contrasting with the white foam that almost seems to sparkle in the light. The artist plays with the transparency of the water, revealing reflections and shadows that add an almost hypnotic dimension to the scene. Every detail, from the splashes to the ripples on the surface, demonstrates an impressive mastery of oil, bringing this sea in perpetual motion to life. This painting invites you to feel the raw force of the elements while being lulled by the softness of the color gradient. You can almost hear the roar of the waves and the water breaking on the surface. A moment suspended between energy and calm.

About the artist

Born in Montmartre in 1963, painting and writing have allowed Sako, whose real name is Serge Armagan, to put words to his pain. A painter for 40 years, but having always painted, he acknowledges that he is only just beginning to understand that the quest for excellence is a life's work and never ends. This humility, this quest for visual emotion that we offer to the gaze of others, are the guiding principles of his work.
