From you to me

Transparencies, water, movement, colors, so much evidence when you look at my creations... I like to see the public baffled, intrigued, caught up, escaping in the stories told in each canvas as in a visionary film, without camera or filming, the imagination alone in control, with its own thread of inspiration as its only guide. Ariane woven throughout her visit. This common thread is the face to face of inseparable, “fused” elements: the poetry of pictorial expression and the magic of the mediums used. From then on the meaning of the sentence illustrating my artistic approach becomes clear, takes on its full dimension, and highlights the poetry of the composition, of the shapes, of the symbolism, of the colors, exalted by that of the musicality, of the rhythms, to to make a dance, a language of the impossible, the improbable, the transcended unreal. The paintings appear from nowhere, according to a perfectly random rhythm which envelops the viewer in a soft torpor in front of a strong symbolism which is essential to the orchestration of the invitation to travel, which I propose: an avid tasting of works with all their delights and sensuality to consume in my workshop in Auray near the Port of St Goustan. |
