The book

Born in 1952 in the Paris region, I moved to Eure-et-Loir (Luray) in 1977.

Since early childhood, I have always been drawn to drawing, color, and artistic creation.

During my professional career in a hospital setting, I was able to benefit from training at the ENSBA (École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts), rue Bonaparte (atelier des loges) in Paris, for three years. I also took drawing and painting classes in Dreux for many years.

The desire to share my passion for art with others led me to open a painting studio in my village of Luray (Eure-et-Loir) in 1998.

I have also been teaching at a leisure university in Dreux since 2005; I participate in numerous regional workshops.

- The Salon des Indépendents at the Grand Palais (Paris) in 2000 and 2014

Numerous awards in various regions (32 distinctions to date), including my latest nominations:
- Jury Prize in November 2023 at the 32nd Couturiot Art Salon in La Couture-Boussey (Eure)
- Abstraction Prize in 2025 at the 35th Salon of painting and sculpture from Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre (Eure-et-Loir)

Artistic approach

My artistic creations have always pushed me forward. I like to open new doors in unknown territory.

Color has always comforted me. For many years, my painting was figurative. But a need for a burst of color became evident at the end of a professional career in a hospital setting.

I paint Instinct, color gives me shape, guides me, it speaks to me, enchants me, makes me feel good, it makes me peaceful and transports me as if by magic into a luminous world.

I paint what I feel with great sincerity, I let myself be guided by my imagination. The play of colors that communicate is a real pleasure.

I seek to convey the impressions that arise from my gaze, creating very colorful, nuanced atmospheres, revealing emotions.

My spontaneity is essential, my colors are magical, full of the unexpected.

I hope to show what we no longer see, beauty exists. I like to dress the canvas with ink, structure, gold dust, silver...

I need to constantly create, I don't want to confine myself to the repetitive.

I want my painting to speak in color to the one who observes it.

The need for vibration, the passion to communicate and share with others, lead me to a permanent renewal of inspiration.
