CHRISTOPHE (France)
After a solid experience in sacred art, Christophe has been approaching contemporary art from a new angle since 2020. These sculptures but mainly these paintings reflect all the power and mastery of matter and compositions in space as on the canvas. The humanist themes at the center of his creations offer you a spectacle and emotions without equal.
. Let us never forget that ART is part of the human and contributes to the harmony of his life, Christophe. A theme, a work, a style ........

As an artist, my artistic approach is imbued with my desire to convey a philosophical message through my works. My style and compositions are distinguished by a figurative realism, where I strive to accurately capture the emotion of the beings I study.
My themes are mainly anchored in portraits of unknown men and women whose depth of soul inspires me. I have always been fascinated by the history of civilizations and the human experience related to it, which is reflected in my artistic choices. My goal is to capture the emotions and universality hidden behind each face, highlighting the symbolic aspects of human nature.
My creative process follows a classic path. I explore the works of the great masters, soaking up their technique and artistic vision, then develop my subjects and refine them through studies in charcoal and red chalk. Then, I transcribe everything onto the canvas, making meticulous and progressive adjustments in order to sublimate the philosophical message that I wish to convey.
I aspire for people to interpret my work by being first attracted by the chromatic balance present in my compositions, the colors capturing their attention and inviting them to examine the work further. Then, I would like them to let themselves be carried away by the composition, appreciating the way in which the elements are arranged and interact with each other so that they finally discover the philosophical message that lies behind each work.
Finally, my artistic approach is distinguished by its originality, simplicity, ability to surprise and creativity. My goal is to arouse the curiosity of the public through the uniqueness of my ideas and to invite them to a deep and enriching artistic experience. I hope that my works will be a source of questions and debates by offering a unique perspective on our world and on the human condition.
