Discover the contemporary work of ABO

When I was little, I drew with a gray pencil, then with a pencil. At school, I discovered painting and its mixtures. Painting Oil has become my medium of choice thanks to my dad who gave me everything I needed, telling me “now you are going to go further”.

For 25 years I tested everything : oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, dry pastel etc. One day I decided to to sign up for painting classes at oil and academic drawing in fine arts, which allowed me to learn the technique that I lacked as an autodidact.

I finally felt legitimate to pass on my passion. I give drawing and painting lessons to children and adults.

I am part of two artist associations in my region (Stel’art and Cré’arts), I became vice-president of one of them. This allows me to participate in exhibitions and meeting a varied audience

I find my inspiration in observation. Not speaking, looking and transcribing what I saw. There you go which led me to draw and paint. I take images that touch me with their colors and subject and reproduce them on canvas.
