Graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, USA, honors and distinction, 1988.
Worked and resided in the United States from 1980 to 2010. Artistic residency in Mexico 1988, founded the artistic group Spitfire, a collaborative of artists painters, poets, writers, musicians and opera singers. Invited to the symposium "Artists vectors of peace" at Wayne State University, Michigan, 1994. Exhibits regularly in the USA and teaches visual arts within organizations in the city of Boston. Private collections USA, Mexico, Peru, Europe. Returned to France in 2010 and continued to exhibit and teach painting in his studio.
A process that is similar to jazz, a flexible structure opening the door to improvisation.
A pictorial vocabulary develops naturally from a gestural process, a calligraphy where color occupies an essential space in this balance of forces. Simplifying the form without abandoning the work of the surface naturally resulted in a more abstract approach. Painting, like music, is an art of feeling, of emotion. The formal aspects of painting must, as far as I am concerned, serve the poetic material. My painting wanders in interior territories, it then offers a possibility for the "viewers" to participate in the work by becoming "seers".
