Discover the contemporary work of MINDSZENTI
I paint without asking of question. Mostly it is my paintings which choose me. We ask me why I paint, but I cannot justify it. The painting lives in me for a long time.I think that the hope is in the center of my painting. The hope and the life.I paint the life such as it exists on our planet, and, also, such as she can exist, somewhere else in the universe.Probably sums we intended to live in our system, probably. The art, the imagination allow however to visit the other places, to discover the multiple facets of the life which snuggles up in the heart of the cosmos. The woman, the birds, the flowers embellish our life here.Since about twenty years my searches go mainly towards the discovery of an ideal, peaceful world, governed by the harmony and the beauty.Colors, shape are the main vectors of this ideal world which I do not discourage to achieve one day.Laszlò Mindszenti was born on May 21, 1934 in Békéscaba in Hungary. CRITICSThe paintings of Laszlo Mindszenti are extremly contemporary, but always turned to the nature. They have a sensibility and have a glance on the world of the alive. In all the paintings of Mindszenti we find a fluidity, a breath, a run-up, curves, curvatures, and we feel serene, calm down. We almost want to take its bodily paintings, to forget the stressful world where we live. His drawing is above all fluid, the overflowing painting, the sparkling pastels as a spring water, but there is so a lot of humor. (Dominique Rollin, gallery owner)
