I am Alan Lacke Cairo, Cuban plastic artist, residing in Madrid, Spain. Since 2015 I have embarked on my independent career as an artist, enjoying the privilege of being able to share my Art and work internationally since 2020, cities such as New York, Milan, Venice, Madrid, Florence, Miami , Laussana, Zaragoza among others.
I start from a training in Graphic Arts. Which led me to work for around 10 continuous years in a graphic workshop in Havana, Cuba.
It is in this place where I find the curiosity and knowledge necessary for the development that later comes with my career as an artist.
Passionate about the processes, synchronisms, automatisms, the magic of color and composition, which define the printing press. The basis of my artistic concept was born about: color, the point, the line and the mixture of colors.
My art is based above all on scientific information, mathematical laws, cosmic energies and history.
I use the simplest elements to represent my ideas, which is why the most basic shapes and especially color are essential in my works. A prior study of line and gesture as forms is essential to find that harmony that represents order in the universe and color as an instrument to transmit sensations to those who contemplate my paintings. strong>
There is always a search for the essential in my work, for the spirit of things, for what lies beyond. of the surface, of the visible. I try to lead the viewer into a silent contemplation that transmits an almost mystical sense of seeing the world.
It is therefore an abstract painting in which the spontaneous, safe and free expression of the artist's gesture when painting is of fundamental importance. But without ever leaving aside a thorough prior study of the pictorial exercise and the final composition.
