PROFESSIONAL CAREER
I am a self-taught Swiss painter, born on December 10, 1961 in Geneva, with over
thirty-five years of experience. I did not have any academic training, because my passion for
drawing is innate. Coming from a time when television was in black and white and the internet and
mobile phones did not exist, drawing was for me a window to imaginary worlds,
providing unimaginable pleasure and sensation. I preserved this passion
until today, strengthening my confidence and mastery of drawing.
Since 1988, I have worked as an independent decorative painter, specializing in the
production of frescoes, copies of paintings by great masters, trompe-l'oeil and portraits.

I use various techniques such as gouache, charcoal, oil, pencil and airbrush. In
addition, I am proficient in the use of gold leaf and netting, as well as the imitation of different
materials such as faux wood and faux marble. I am also skilled in digital creation,
using a Wacom tablet with Photoshop. I am capable of producing a variety of
works, ranging from renaissance to contemporary, in both abstract and
figurative styles, including hyperrealism.

ARTISTIC VISION AND INSPIRATION
About
Alexandre Abyla is an artist on the borders of hyperrealism, pop art and street art. Former painter
decorator by trade, he will have produced in 30 years a large number of sets, frescoes, trompe-l'oeil
and this, in the public and private domain ranging from the renaissance, to the baroque style, romanticism,
impressionism, modern, contemporary, abstract or figurative drawing.
Alexandre Abyla, this born artist, fell in love with painting and his muse at the origin of his
inspiration, of his most fantastical and fiery reveries. He will deploy an unfailing love
for Woman, for this goddess both uninhibited and fascinating who will become the pillar of his

deep gaze of his sweetheart, until our eyes are riveted on her lips, her silky and
sparkling hair. Alexandre Abyla will sparingly use a repetitive variation of a vulgar gesture always
in a humorous and romantic tone.
He will embody in each of his creations, the knight serving his lady, respectful, listening to her
desires, her moods... Brushstrokes, bright colors, pep to make the
light of his muse shine... Feminine perfection in all its forms, a moving exposure full of
love, attention, kindness...

admirers, grimaces and lips full of kindness... This indomitable woman will make you
vibrate all over the world, young or old, rebellious, Rock ‘n’roll or preppy, she will challenge you with
fun and love.
