Discover the contemporary work of Alexia Gondoux
There are periods in life that are conducive to change; they are called "crises".
The midlife crisis, the panic attack, the anxiety attack too...And the existential crisis.
Crisis. A word that resonates in a negative, harmful, hurtful, violent way. Inappropriate behavior, a misunderstanding of the world, a lack of self-control or whatever. It is not the case.
It is a word that resonates.
So, when we take a path, not the wrong one because there is no good one, that does not suit us, that no longer suits us, the crisis occurs and in its own way, no matter its nature, it makes us aware. This is the beginning of a long journey. And to enter into reflection.
The crisis. The awareness.
I am Alexia Gondoux. I wrote my feelings, my emotions. I painted them. I am not finished.
The path is winding, strewn with pitfalls, but it leads somewhere, elsewhere, that is certain.
My artistic approach is varied. It goes from pencil drawing, to acrylic knife strokes, to ink and watercolor, depending on my state of mind.
