I am a comic book artist, I make minimalist humorous comics and children's illustrations in watercolor and acrylic.
I like absurd humor and poetry, and being Basque I like to create things related to mythology and the Basque language. The drawing opposite, with the man and the horse next to the lamppost, is a limited edition illustration, linked to my comic Lunatique
My background: after a literary baccalaureate in 2017, I did a year of Philosophy at the University of Toulouse, then I left After falling because I felt that I was drawn to art, I started the degree in art history, and I understood that I wanted to practice art, not study it. So I studied Comics in Brussels at ESA Saint Luc in Brussels, and I released my first children's illustration book in 2022, called Ttinka. This year I am releasing a first comic strip called Lunatique, which is a humorous and poetic comic strip
Theatre also has a very important place in my life, as well as music (I play both - the guitar in the field of music - and I happily go to concerts and shows)
My artistic approach is based on a desire to amuse, to amaze, and to escape. Also in a somewhat psychological exploration of the characters, even if it is done through humor or comic dialogues, I like to deepen their personality and see how far they can go, for better or for worse. I want to tell funny and poetic stories, without lacking depth. This is my desire and my ambition, and it requires a subtlety that is not easy to achieve, but this challenge pleases me and makes sense to me.
