Originally from the Paris region where I was born and settled in Essonne, I have been painting for several years now. As a child, I was already passionate about pictorial expression, perhaps because she comes from a family in which the practice of the arts was an “art of living”, a family itself; I have an ancestry of enamel painters whose works are exhibited in different museums in Paris. across the world, for France, the Louvre, Ecouen, Cluny...
Life having offered me another path by following (happily however) studies of modern languages, I have however always remained extremely attracted by artistic fields which I have never abandoned. Personal writing, piano and floral arrangements have also been part of my universe.
As time passed, it was quite natural that I took up brushes that had been abandoned for a while, starting by giving a second existence to them. old furniture, and by extension, by covering the walls of my house with waxes and lime.
My background is almost self-taught, no Fine Arts or major schools, but excellent teachers as well as excellent teachers. active participation in a small, very friendly and educational local association. And personal work, again and again!
I' exhibited in France as elsewhere abroad since 2014, exhibitions in fairs or galleries.
Halfway between the figurative and the abstract, my work focuses on bring feelings and emotions to light through antagonisms. Indeed my favorite themes are the contrasts between somewhat contradictory cohabitations, such as the city and nature, the roundness of waves and clouds, found in abstract straight lines, or the accent placed on a look even more than on a portrait. On canvas or other support, I paint in acrylic, the modernity of which I appreciate, often with additions of materials, and we frequently find gold, a symbol of 39; shine, in different forms, paint, pure pigments, sheet... I paint as I am, that’s what I want. I can say this without pretension, with my faults and my strengths, but I admit that I make a point of honor in this respect. create very personal works, in a style that is not found elsewhere.
