Discover the contemporary work of ART OF KA

Karine CROIBIER-MUSCAT, known as Ka, is a contemporary French painter, born in 1973 in the picturesque city of Grenoble. 

From a very young age, a great dreamer, ultra sensitive and spiritual, everything amazes her, sounds, smells, colors. 

She is passionate about astronomy, nature and develops a taste for art in several forms: classical dance, music, photography as well as writing and more particularly drawing and painting. 

Her paternal grandmother is her first "teacher" of drawing, freehand, the second will be the painter Pierre CASALEGNO known as CASA who will teach him the first artistic bases and the history of Art for 3 years. She thus obtained the A3 literary artistic baccalaureate in 1993. Her father was her first fan.

Absorbed very young by her new family life that she built and her profession, Management Assistant, Ka abandoned this part of herself for 27 years.
Through a chaotic family and professional journey, she initially developed an unwavering faith in Jesus and it was in 2021, victim of a burnout, that she took up the brushes again. 

Her faith and painting will never leave her. She will say "my God saved me life, He is my strength and my painting my escape."

She creates her artistic identity under Art Of Ka.

Her motto "To marvel, to marvel always..."

It is therefore in a spiritual and cosmic atmosphere that Ka finds her inspiration where colors and elements dance and collide in harmony.

In this artistic ferment and in a continual quest for an authentic letting go, she creates everything in relief, instinctively, as she goes along, without any preconceived idea other than the idea of luminous and harmonious colors, of the use of matter and textures.  

Getting tired of the artistic routine very quickly, his work is in perpetual movement, combining the imagination of the moment and the exploration of new techniques.

Thus, each work is unique, testifying to a different universe, having its own resonance. Only 3 common particularities remain: the neat backgrounds, the introduction of circles and the white dot representing Jesus, the true signature of the Artist. 

Through painting, a real sharing and reflection of his soul, Ka tells us about his faith, his passion, his emotions. She immerses us in a part of herself, in the imagination of the abstract and makes us travel to the frontier of surrealism.
It is up to her audience to unravel the mystery, to appropriate, with their own accuracy, their subjective interpretation. What does this work tell you? What does it resonate in you? This is how everything becomes possible and unique for everyone.

"I am a repressed mess, sometimes tortured, sometimes happy, who very selfishly, harmoniously pours all her emotional bulk on her canvas. And it feels good."
