Marie-Christine, a local artist who shares her know-how and passion. Based in Soullans since 2011, she exhibits her creations and thus participates in the promotion of crafts and handmade products.
Always interested in artistic crafts and composition, she has been working on porcelain painting for almost 20 years, whether in traditional painting or with materials such as gold, platinum, luster or imitation inlay. She started this activity in the Paris region by perfecting her skills with great teachers known throughout the world. After a lot of work and competitions, she obtained a diploma that allows her to give lessons to pass on her passion.
The adult classes take place on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The price for the first month for beginners is 55 euros and for those with experience it is 35 euros per month. No drawing skills are required.
Marie-Christine also offers creative workshops for children aged 6 and over, which take place during the school holidays. Each workshop consists of two one-hour sessions. The price is 24 euros per child, a souvenir that they will keep forever. life.
The creations she makes are made on the principle of the personalized unique piece, without the notion of a renewable series, cooked at high temperature. These offer, in normal use, resistance of colors to the traditional oven, microwave and dishwasher.
Marie-Christine has a taste for contact and likes to meet the locals by exhibiting at seasonal markets.

I work by drawing my own models on a white porcelain support (unique piece) and applying the finest possible color several times (temperature 1100 degrees at each firing) in order to obtain a piece that will not fear the dishwasher, the microwave, the electric oven, the knife and the freezer
