Discover the contemporary work of Aurélie ROCHETA
Having been painting for over ten years, her constant desire for exploration and freedom led her to abstract acrylic painting.
Thanks to abstraction, she can suggest without ever imposing. She sees painting as a vehicle for emotions and poetry.
Her interest in art was awakened in her childhood near Auvers-sur-Oise, the cradle of Impressionism.
A passionate self-taught artist, she immersed herself in in-depth studies of art history, techniques and theories to nourish her creativity. Her research led her to abstract acrylic painting 5 years ago, where she gives free rein to her thirst for exploration and freedom.
Through complex combinations of colors and textures, she seeks to express her deep emotions and to provoke reflection in the spectators.
Her practice is a ballet of colors, shapes and materials, where she plays with superposition and transparency in search of an intuitive, almost meditative harmony.
Her works, vibrant and introspective, offer a poetic escape and invite the sharing of a deep emotional palette.
I am constantly researching materials, combining colors, contrasts and shapes through mixed techniques combining collages, sand, inks, etc.
To transcribe my feelings, I superimpose layers of paint, either textured or glazed, alternating intuitive phases and more conscious phases in search of harmony.
Each canvas is a search, an inner journey.
