I was born ten years before man's first step on the moon. And yet it's not Armstrong which triggered the my passion, but Jacky Ickx and his first victory at the 24 hours of Le Mans. A passion for automobiles that is still alive today this day.
I know the cars from the inside out having driven them on legendary circuits like Francorchamps. I became one with them, flirting with their limits, my eyes fixed on the ideal trajectory.
I also know them from the outside, having made them for the greatest pleasure of miniature collectors. The choice of models, exact reproduction to perfection. scale, the search for detail... a work of a goldsmith.
Over the years, nourished by my experience in the automotive field, I wanted to give free rein to my ideas. my artistic imagination through photography.
- In my approach as a photographer, the automobile is more of an excuse to express my side of the world. artistic.
- I like bright colors, lines and curves, reflections, details, transparency, material and diversions.
- When I photograph, it's like a game whose rules evolve depending on the car, the light and the point of view.
- The automobile is my passion and photography is the best way to share my enthusiasm for it.
