Artistic approach
My artistic approach is closely linked to my life journey, impact by mental illness, it is driven by necessity.
When emptiness, nothingness becomes unbearable: the compelling need to act, to do: to create intervenes. Often responding to questions a certain urgency, as if to ward off death, I try to translate this indescribable emotion into through this very special medium that is painting.
What drives me is to immerse myself outside of time, entirely absorbed by creation.
My research revolves around sublimation: this possibility of to transform negative emotions through the creative process, to find a constructive way out of these.
