Discover the contemporary work of Benjamin David

Né on December 3, 1975 at Champigny sur Marne. I have lived in Vendée since 2016.

Passionate I have always been interested in zoology, my favorite theme is the animal world, particularly great apes, wild animals and amphibians.

Attracted since adolescence by the world of Pop Art/Street Art and comics, my style is inscribed at the borders of its movements. 

I like to represent the animal within geometric shapes, lines and abrupt, profusion angles, in order to mark the contrast between the natural organic and the rectilinear chaos of humanity.

I like realistic/precise plots,  delicate, "true", themselves connected to nature. “almost fantastic” pop colors; straight out of the imagination. It’s the dichotomy between these two universes, this colorful madness that drives me.

Work at home acrylic was naturally the obvious choice. I favor large formats,  30F (92x73cm) and 40F (100x81cm), (80x80cm and 100x100cm) for their imposing sides.
