Belén Olmedo Menchén
Belén is an artist born in Albacete who moved to Madrid at an early age, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 2011 from the Complutense University of Madrid.
From 2006 to 2009 he participated in the Exhibition Hall: Casa Del Pueblo. (Madrid).
Participate in the exhibition entitled “Express yourself”, at the Farnesio Cultural Center (Aranjuez).
In 2008 he exhibited at the Cultural Center of the Tomelloso City Council (Ciudad Real).
Two years later, in 2010 he exhibited painting during his course at the Université Michel de Montaigne, in “La Dibiterie”. Bordeaux (France).
From 2006 to 2013, he has been part of the musical group “Los Sundayers”, where he composes and sings, actively participating in design, audiovisual and photographic works.
In 2012 she obtained the title of Master of Teacher Training specialized in Plastic and Visual Arts.
Later in 2014 he went to Edinburgh (UK) where he studied Digital Animation and included an art video called “WATER” in the Edinburgh Collage of Art (ECA) exhibition.
During that same year, he obtained a scholarship to work at the MECD / MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, CULTURE AND SPORTS. Department of lifelong learning. Mentor Classroom and Center for Innovation and Development of Distance Education (CIDEAD)
Training and research scholarship, in design, supervision and evaluation of educational materials for distance training systems with telematic support.
Activities related to: graphic design, text illustration, digital and multimedia layout, web design and audiovisual production.
Participates in 2015 in the Art and Medicine Exhibition in Open Talk. (Madrid).
The first individual exhibition was “REFUGIOS” at the Ateneo de Madrid in 2016.
His artistic work in this project is dynamic, performative in nature, full of a sense of humor and without leaving aside the depth of his visual messages, offering the viewer a point of irony and reflection. n, about our role as an individual in society.
It is worth highlighting his time at HEART IBIZA in the 2016 season, in the communication and production department of graphic design, photography, performance and video, a creative experience of ALBERT Y FERRAN ADRIÀ and CIRQUE DU SOLEIL, nourished by a multisensory aesthetic.
During 2018, she participated in the collective exhibition “DIALOGOS FEMENINOS” at the Carmen Conde Culture House. (Madrid).
In 2019, he designed the cover for the book “Interior Exhibition” by Pablo Escudero Abenza of the ANTONIO RÓDENAS GARCÍA -NIETO FOUNDATION.
She is therefore a multidisciplinary artist, knowing in depth the contemporary artistic, plastic and visual language.
He also works in art direction on film shoots for brands such as: NIKE, FIFA, HUGO BOSS, SPOTIFY, HUAWEI, MOVISTAR, REPSOL, ADIDAS, etc. with directors like Salvador Calvo. In fiction we highlight Eduardo Cassanova's short film “Amor de Madre” or the feature film “CHINAS” directed by Aranxta Echevarria, etc.
