LAMBOT BERNARD Né October 4, 1956 Bernard Lambot came from a large family where all except He followed the path of higher studies in the lineage of his doctor parents.                     

               Attracted through any form of artistic expression he turned to studies in cabinetmaking hoping to satisfy his need for creation and expression, very quickly he #39;away from the classicism of the profession that he learned and created wood sculptures and enrolled in the the Academy of Fine Arts of Liège.

              After an obligatory passage through military service and a marriage to a florist, he leaves his passion aside for a few years. and embarked on a career as a florist and specialized in personalized floral arrangements.

              All these years he never stops thinking about the future where he will finally be able to give free rein to his passion: sculpture. He registers at the academy of Ixelles and Etterbeek and at the institute of arts professions of Anderlecht in order to perfect certain techniques such as Raku or stone sculpture but not fully flourishing in this "school" learning. from sculpture, he began to work; create your own characters where you can reality mixes with each other and accuracy of the body and side airy and unreal from the faces to the pure noses at the same time. the Modigliani where the hollow heads accentuate the importance of bodily expression for the artist in his works; we move away from reason and express the imagination. We undeniably feel the influence of Folon in the first characters. However, he detached himself from it and refined his technique for an almost human rendering of the bodies of unreal characters imbued with great sensitivity.

                  Bernard Lambot does not have the typical artist profile. He is a dreamer, passionate, sensitive, he lives in his world and functions at its own pace. the instinct of his imagination. He lets his mind wander; looking for a new character. Very demanding and meticulous, he first mentally imbues himself with the movement he wishes to make and then sets about creating it. the work with a rigor of detail and a concern for perfection, which is why he devotes a lot of time to the work. each work with a concern for perpetual renewal which makes him an artist at the peak of his creation.
