Discover the contemporary work of Bernard Yohalin
During my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned studios such as Disney, where I worked on iconic films such as Bambi 2, Brother Bear 2, Tarzan 2, Lilo & Stitch 2, The Lion King 3 and Cinderella 3. I have also participated in projects for Doghouse Studio with Where is Anne Frank and Fritzi, as well as for Oniria Pictures on Tristan & Isolde, and Alphanim with the TV series Mona the Vampire and Animals Crackers.
In parallel with my work in production, I have directed digital and traditional painting workshops, including as a trainer at the Indian Ocean Image Institute in La Réunion. I have taught students the art of painting backgrounds for animation and matte painting, as well as advanced traditional painting techniques. I have also completed various art projects, including murals, client commissions, portraits and landscapes, as well as live demonstrations of speed painting and sculptures.
"My works explore the fascinating balance between creation and destruction, capturing each time the ephemeral beauty and delicate fragility of the world."
I consider my creative process as a journey where each canvas reflects my inner universe. My works invite the viewer to dive into a poetic world where colors and shapes tell stories charged with emotion and symbolism. They highlight the duality between birth and death, between creation and destruction.
