Photography

Invented by Joseph Niépce in 1826, photography is based on two types of knowledge: optics, allowing an image to be captured and delivered, and chemistry used to fix it on a surface. Its inventor died in 1833, but Louis Daguerre continued his research to discover the development of the latent image reducing exposure time. At the end of the 19th century, Eastman Kodak democratized film photography by making it possible to take many photos in less time. Photography continues to evolve with the inventions of color, film, relief photos, and digital photos, or even synthesis, etc.

Description
TRAUMA 1920 - Breath, if you can 2020The constriction in a muffled world that makes us “captives”, leaving us dumbfounded, angry or otherwise perplexed.Locked-out? or locked-in? (But there is much more than this)Alone. Or in small group. But still, isolated! We are only human. Same old humans. We are aware. We are all dealing with it.Black dressed, on oily canvases, paralized in deep deep water. Incapable of reactions.Faces with mouths all wide closed. Breathless. Numbed. Rigoruous in our Elizabethan collars. Blacked and prisoners. It’s us looking inside (where are we?), or it's us looking outside (where are we going?)
