Josette Mallet Borderieux was born in 1949 in Cosne/Loire and therefore was originally from the Nièvre.She doesn’t consider herself as an artist and yet, when you look at her painting you carried into a wheel of colours and emotions. Always with passion, she paints from her heart and her emotions guide her brushes and her crayons when she’s working. It isn’t an exaggeration to use the word masterpiece because her works merit that description. This passion has been hidden for a long time and has revealed itself late in life when she stopped working for health reasons. She could have because depressed, yet she exploited her talents thanks to having met a teacher from the Paris region and later other people who encouraged her to follow her passion. She has taken part in all sorts of exhibitions, sometimes deeply disappointed and sometimes extremely satisfied, but in all cases her artistic talent because stronger. As time went by, her desire to draw and paint because greater, at the same time she continued to improve. She had a desperate need to learn more and more using new methods and she continued to learn and to improve greatly. Her favourite subjects are animals, still life, flowers, portraits, nudes and sometimes landscapes and seascapes.
