Born in 1958 and parisian, since her early childhood, M.C. Bosc is a painter fascinated by the charm and lights of her city's old neighborhoods with their back streets full of cafés, bistros and gardens. She populates this constantly changing setting with individuals half way between comic book caracters and caricatures, sometimes touching and often humourous. Bordering on NaÏve Art, but also influenced by Lautrec, Daumier and Dubout, she tries to capture a quintessentially Parisian spirit.
