I am a trained dance and art teacher, live in Frankfurt am Main and paint, draw and photograph. I have already had my own exhibitions, taken part in group exhibitions and am always open to new projects. More information is available on my homepage: carolahelwing.de and on Instagram: Caro.Art4

One focus of my work is the representation of dance and movement. It is an attempt to reflect the moment in dance, the impulse and the emotion and to make it tangible for the viewer. I want to convey and make visible the grace and elegance of the dancers. 

Other fields are artist portraits and the theme of sea and sky in its various color facets. 

When painting, I mainly use chalk and acrylic.

In photography, I find it exciting to capture sections of landscapes or everyday objects, to partially abstract them and thus enlarge them,  that new image contexts emerge and new areas of interpretation are awakened in the viewer.

Landscape photography is also a focus, here - as in painting - it is mainly images of the sky and water.
