I've always drawn and practiced visual arts. In middle school, encouraged by my visual arts teacher, I considered studying fine arts. My family moved, and I didn't have the opportunity to realize this "not serious enough" dream, which I put aside. Life went on, and I studied law and started working in human resources. In 2006, I completed I completed a skills assessment and took the time to retrain in art therapy. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Paris Descartes and St. Anne's Hospital.

Alongside this reflection on my profession, I progressed in my artistic work. Encouraged by those close to me, I gradually resumed my practice, and in 2002, I entered an artist's studio. I then joined Wallerand's studio in the contemporary art association art27 in Marly le Roi, where I worked for several years. I gradually moved from being a "Sunday painter" to becoming an "artist." I joined the Maison des Artistes and, in 2006, I began exhibiting and selling my visual work. I continue to be involved in the art27 association, but today I work mainly in a studio that I have had in my home for over 7 years.

Artistic approach

A desire to experiment, to play, to be in motion. A desire to make sense, to connect, to weave with the experiences I've conducted. This is how I would summarize my path. Visual Artist/Materialist, I dialogue with matter and reflect on bodies.

My productions vary greatly in the techniques used because I love experimentation and the surprise of visual play. The act of creation is, for me, a true space of freedom. Material, colors, and shapes connect me to the world, to the world as I feel it. My research has often brought me back to the same questioning of the body. Man in his matter. Envelope, cocoon of protection, or place of suffering and confinement? The body that expresses beyond words. The being in his feelings, solitude, sadness, suffering. The body, fragile, which bends, sometimes melts into the matter. A fusion of elements, the search for balance. I also question the trace left in the studio. Moving from "play" to "play." I"... Could this be my process? In any case, in plastic art, for me it is always an encounter. A work of the sensitive that invites self-construction. And so it is quite natural that I have also initiated a reflection on the portrait. This theme, widely explored in the history of art, indeed poses the question of man and his identity. Whether figurative or abstract, the portrait reveals the intimate. From the portrait of a subject, I have moved on to that of a moment, a lived instant that we seek to preserve. A work on the passing of time, the question of presence/absence. We return to the trace. A touching/touched body. Perhaps also the search for a madeleine to share... Representation, trace, or mask of being, it is still an encounter. The opportunity to lay bare what is "Un-Visible." Placing each of us face to face with our relationship to the elements; contributing to the work and offering an interpretation, leaving freedom for the gaze of others. It doesn't matter if it corresponds with what I wanted to express. The work naturally places each of us face to face with our relationship to the world. I love this sharing of perceptions that gives me a different perspective and moves my work forward.
