Born into a family of passionate amateur artists, I have been practicing drawing and painting since childhood.

Studies: Law (M2) History of art (Doctorate), Visual arts (aggregation)

I lived in France (mainly on the coast), Overseas, visited France. many countries.

I taught plastic arts and art history in secondary schools and beyond university.

I have enriched my practice with techniques and references constantly renewed over the years, stages of a life rich in experiences in very various where I lived. Digital photography has thus become an essential ally in the creative process.

Nourished by the experience of travel, my work essentially develops  the theme of landscape, marine, urban, or rural, my works, in figurative style, testify to my view on it. They speak of the memory of the lived moment. They are the projection of somewhere else.

The composition, united with the point of view adopted, poses the subject, imposes the instructions. The eye thus wanders from the panoramic vision to the observation of detail. The look can invite you to the escape, to wandering, vagrancy or, on the contrary, static contemplation of the object. In all cases he refuses indifference and wants to be curious.

Light and color play a major role. They draw the volumes and animate the canvas. They must account for the feeling experienced.

The form takes on its full meaning thanks to the a firm touch blending with the line and the flat for greater expressiveness.

Painting and drawing are for me the privileged tools of vision and memory. They allow me to reconstruct the lived moment to reveal a deeper, more sensitive reading of it. my eyes sublimated.
