Keizo Design

Keizo Design is an artisan workshop located in Vence, founded by Catherine Tahan, great-grandniece of the official cabinetmaker to Emperor Napoleon III.

Specializing in furniture restoration, the workshop excels in eclectic work combining matte black and 22-carat gold leaf with finesse and elegance. Keizo Design also creates unique designer objects, practices upcycling, and incorporates gold leaf into Japanese prints and vintage posters. She also created a unique collection, "Oysters are chic," which uses gold leaf on real oysters framed on various backgrounds such as leather, velvet, etc.

A combination of traditional and contemporary, bold artistic experimentation. Catherine Tahan has participated in several exhibitions and has an international clientele. Each of her creations is signed Keizo
