A passionate artist, Catherine Arcelon explores the nuances of the human soul through abstract painting rich in colors and textures. Her works reflect a constant search for emotions, inner movements and personal experiences. For several years, she has moved away from figurative forms to delve into dynamic compositions where abstraction becomes an expressive language.
Inspired by human relationships, injustices and deep feelings, each of Catherine's paintings tells a story, invites reflection, and opens a dialogue with the viewer's imagination. Her bold palettes – from soothing green and blue to bursts of orange and yellow – capture a variety of moods, while leaving room for personal interpretation.
Featured in various exhibitions and collections, Catherine Arcelon's work continues to evolve, always guided by a quest for harmony and introspection.
In my artistic approach, I seek to explore human emotions and their interactions with the environment, as well as the invisible forces that shape our lives. Through abstraction, I try to give form to these inner and outer movements, capturing moments of tension, transition or contemplation.
The colors I use, often contrasting but in harmony, reflect a search for balance between chaos and order, strength and vulnerability. Each canvas thus becomes the mirror of my feelings and my reflections on injustices, transformations and complexity human relationships.
My work leaves a great deal of freedom of interpretation to the viewer. Through my series, whether with shades of blue and green or more vivid palettes such as orange and yellow, I explore universal themes such as movement, connection to nature, and emotional energies.
I invite you to make these paintings your own, to project your own experiences onto them, and to let them resonate with your personal emotions.
