Discover the contemporary work of Cédric Gatto

Born in 1978, I quickly became passionate about drawing and painting.

In 1995, I joined the "La Martinière Terreaux" school in Lyon. For three years, I learned drawing, color, art history and a multitude of drawing techniques.

I then entered the "Ecole d'Arts Appliqués Bellecour". For four years, I became familiar with advertising, photography and computer graphics. At the same time, I began to paint for myself and then for friends. For 10 years now I have been lucky enough to be able to exhibit regularly in Lyon or in my village of Millery.

In 2021 I won the public prize at the Millery painters' fair.

Lyon, Italy, old stones and dragons are among my most regular sources of inspiration.
Today I try to move towards a more fantastic universe by uniting each of these elements in a universe where color takes a predominant place.
