Discover the contemporary work of Chahrazed
Born in 1979, Chahrazed Fekih, a Tunisian visual artist, lives and works in Paris. She taught at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts in Tunis from 2006 to 2023
Her works have been the subject of several national and international exhibitions.
In the context of a global pandemic, C. F.'s shy and discreet "visual thoughts" will prove to be deeply relevant. They will be fully manifested during her two solo exhibitions held in 2021 and 2022.
Strongly sensitive to the ecological question, Chahrazed shows us, through the thin film of ink of her drawings, forms of creatures of a reinvented nature. Defying all kinds of phobias, and through clever hand movements worthy of a magician, she succeeds in coaxing sometimes the most feared creatures, revealing them with an unsuspected beauty. But also with a fragility that is, one might say, only due to its fragile wire-to-draw.
