Discover the contemporary work of Christophe Dabreau
Né on January 16, 1975 at Mulhouse, from a family of Polish immigrants, it’s a summer day in Mulhouse. In 1996 I discovered photography through disposable film cameras during a trip to Italy. Arles. I then had fun reproducing Van Gogh's paintings following the journey of this artist in this beautiful city with its historic past. history rich in several centuries of history.
From then on, having a passion for this art, I cultivated my gaze, observing the works of Robert Doisneau, Sabine Weiss, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and others....
It was only around the years 2015-2016 that I took the step of creating my own works on the theme of humanism which is so important to me. expensive.
After a first exhibition entitled "the belly of Mulhouse", in homage to the works of Robert Doisneau and Emile Zola (the belly of Paris), I decided to begin this beautiful adventure of ;author photographer.
I walk, beating cobblestones and asphalt, I observe you in these streets sometimes deserted, sometimes crowded, I see you.
You are beautiful, you are magnificent in your nature, your nature and your culture in our streets, in our countryside.
I write or I try to write with the light of those who remain in the shadows of view, because there is nothing more beautiful than seeing as you do. yours and to show you who you are:
Sad, joyful, happy, sometimes angry...whatever can define you and define beauty. of humanity à to which we all belong.
The colors of my gaze are those of your smiles, your sorrows and your emotions. The look I offer you is that of a man who, without you, would not exist.
