“In the beginning was the Word”! The entire artistic approach of my art is concentrated in this first sentence of the Gospel of Saint John. Essentially symbolic painting, the goal of my pictorial art is to visually bring out the invisible and to paint not the thing but the effects it produces as Stéphane Mallarmé states. If there is something, then the objective is to allow through the painted form to reach the emotion or meaning that emerges from it!

Basically, it is about starting from the sound enunciation of a word loaded with meaning and putting it in colors according to a process that we have developed and which allows to have a representation in the form of a stained glass window from which, I examine the colored effects that this word can produce according to the semantic angles that it can cover according to the areas of human activity where he is present.

Work mainly in acrylic, it can be done on different supports either on cotton or linen canvas, on linen fabric or on glossy paper allowing to create a composition by cutting and assembly according to the choice of the message to transmit and the use of different tools (brush, knife, felt pen etc...).

The work in watercolor which is also part of my techniques is much more intimate and aims to represent shapes, figures, events. On watercolor paper of different formats, it is intended to be a punctual or discreet illustration.

I exhibited at Paris (Galerie Métanoïa (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), Sacred Art Festival of Senlis (2019) and Compiègne (2020), Heritage Day at the Château d’Ermenonville (2022), Espace4 Sorbonne (2022), Galerie Etienne de Causans (02/2023), Galerie Francis Barlier (05/2023), Alsatian Cultural Center ‘’René Schickele’’ (06/2023)) and in Alsace as part of the 24th Chemin d’Art Sacré d’Alsace from June to October 2022 in Ribeauvillé with the title: ‘’La Parole en couleurs’’. Previously, there were two exhibitions of watercolors in 2011 in Barr in Alsace as part of the ‘’Rue des Arts’’ and in Boston in May 2012 at the French cultural center. In addition, two exhibitions took place in November with the themes: “ Voyage dans le temps ” at the Galerie Vivienne (Paris) from 06/11 to 11/11/2023 and “ Carrousel artistique ” at the Gustave gallery (Paris) from 06/11 to 12 11/2023. Finally, on screen at the Swissartexpo in Zurich organized by ARTBOX in September 2023 (from 06 to 10).

In 2024, I exhibited at the Etienne de Causans gallery, in Venice (in digital presentation) during the ARTBOX PROJECT VENEZIA 2.0 from April 10 to 30, 2024 and I exhibited from May 27 to September 30, 2024 at the EDMA house in Massy (Essonne, France) around thirty works and in June from 13 to 16 during the ARTBOX EXPO BASEL (Euro - Basel/Mulhouse Airport) (in digital presentation)
