Discover the contemporary work of combemichel

Trained by several professors graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Lyon practicing quite diverse techniques, I am sure inspired. At the same time I myself taught technical drawing in Technical High School (which is why I often like to revisit urban landscapes and other themes for which perspective is very important!).

Painting is  further develop the sense of observation. Playing with color, « chiaroscuro ». My inspiration is often dictated by the representation of places, atmospheres of places that I personally appreciate. Stylize reality to achieve great intensity expressive is my goal. Sometimes I also escape to capture life scenes... I therefore follow, in general, a fairly diversified semi-figurative approach translating the sensation of the moment, the atmospheres. I do not confine myself to a very academic representation that gives free rein to my ideas. my impressions, my feelings regarding the subject covered. My works are generally based on both luminous and colorful, close to Fauvism.... Without doubt above all an intuitive painter, a painter of emotion.
