Discover the contemporary work of Jean MIRRE

Jean Mirre is an experience artist who started his career in 1987 with a solo exhibition in a gallery in Paris. He then sold through auctioneers in several places in France (Versailles, Douai, Provins,..)He first painted abstract miniatures on paper, board,etc.. Soon he painted large canvases with oil.Today, Jean Mirre uses acrylic and ink on canvas, fairly large sizes. His attention is focused on color, light, harmony and a joyful attitude towards creation.His interest for poetry can be seen in his iconography (southern abstract landscapes, scenery, buildings, vegetation, legends..)His work is mostly sold in Europe but also in the US with Saatchi Online. (collectors in Belgium, England, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Rumania.. but also Brazil, Japan..)
