Discover the contemporary work of David Carfantan

A self-taught artist photographer, I am registered with AGESSA as an artist-author. I offer my creations to embellish your interior.
Photography allows me to freeze amazing moments, perspectives, colors, shadows, reflections, movements whether in an urban environment or at the water's edge; I also like to show the detail of materials and work on textures.
I don't really limit myself to a particular field, I photograph with a personal angle what I like visually, whether it is architecture, landscapes, urban scenes, abandoned sites, beautiful mechanics... the important thing for me is that the shot is visually interesting and sought after.
I am also very strongly attracted to geometry, I find that it structures the image and makes it more readable, in architecture of course but also in other more unexpected categories such as landscapes. I also like to freeze man in his environment, I find that it gives vivid images.
Isn't the photographer's work intended to "communicate the vividness of primordial sensations", as Balzac said about the writer?
I am a self-taught photographer registered with AGESSA as an artist-author. My artistic approach is based on a varied visual exploration, without limiting myself to a particular field. I capture what catches my eye, whether it is architecture, landscapes, urban scenes, abandoned places or elegant mechanics. For me, the most important thing is that each shot is visually interesting and thoughtful.
Geometry occupies a central place in my work. It structures my images and makes them more readable, particularly in architecture, but also in unexpected categories such as landscapes. I also enjoy freezing the human in his environment, thus bringing a living dimension to my photographs. My goal, as a photographer, is to "communicate the vividness of primordial sensations", as Balzac suggested about writers.
