The truth will always remain the one we tell ourselves at home. yourself. Each of us has, deep down, our own truth, light, strength, direction, intuition. It’s everyone, in a free but informed way, to decide what they want to do with their life. Time is nothing; Realizing yourself by living your life to the fullest is everything, let's talk about my art my symbolic vocabulary is expressed using large areas of color Each work is full of as many details as possible, I seem ready ;present several works in one and I am interested in duality of the world, to the relationships between the North and the South, particularly between Europe and Africa. Passionate by current events international, I constantly revisit history, to better understand what is happening around me. I am interested in the place of humans and animals, the links between progress and nature and between tradition and modernity. I develop my works as questions about society. current, globalized, but who has forgotten its roots and traditional values. Refusing the illusions of material happiness which gradually threatens and ruins one's life. little the planet, my thought also seeks to decipher the stereotypes resulting from the centuries-old, although complicated, relations between the Western world and the African continent. The compositions are dynamic, charged and interweave colorful elements resembling braziers that suddenly illuminate the dark surface of the background. Beyond cultural and social barriers, my art seeks to overcome cultural and social barriers. awaken in each of us a distant memory, an intimate or intimate vision provoke reflection on the world. my work abounds with frequent and familiar signs. In my works, therefore, it is indeed opposing universes that come together: human kingdom and animal kingdom, progress and nature, modernity and modernity. and tradition, West and Africa, inhumanity; and respect are the criteria of representation which seeks to achieve reach, beyond of these oppositions.
« What matters to me above all is creation.
Since my beginnings, I have taken pleasure in to paint. My subjects, my approach and my brushstrokes come from the desire to renew myself. I work by instinct and improvisation. My painting and my style evolve over the years, letting me be guided by new techniques that I continually explore. I have several styles, I paint one or two collections per year. These series of paintings are the result of research with which I take on new challenges and where I take on new challenges. I explore and reinvent new techniques.
Inspiration comes to me from everyday life of the past or present. I document myself by reading, looking at photos and/or improvising as a photographer myself.
The expression on the faces came to light. me by defiance for the sake of difference. Our eyes travel through the details in a narrative manner, leaving room for the next. a new story. My characters represent no one and everyone. the time.
Since my first works, you will notice a change in facial features, volume, lights, movement, backgrounds, etc.
I paint without worrying about the rules of art that I have learned, but which I often do not apply, voluntarily. My paintings are perfect with their imperfections.
I study the reaction of colors to each other in transparency with dyes, in opacity with each other. with minerals and in texture with earths. So many possible combinations to create unique atmospheres in each work. I have no concern for realism.
A little thing inspires me. My last painting is always the most beautiful because I discover something new there. I make sure I want all my works to be unique and without repetition (without a recipe for success). À In my eyes, the value of a work of art is found in its originality. creativity, research around it and in its authenticity. I paint from the heart.
My painting reaches people in the same way. »
