Dominique Jovet was born in 1962 in the
Nord-Pas-de-Calais and has lived in Perpignan
since the nineties.
A fan of the big gaps: after thirty
years of healing bodies, two decades
as a luthier-guitarist then a wood turner, this self-taught
engineer models
clay. He tells the absurdities of
our society and human antics.
Dominique likes to drink a double espresso
black, without sugar, in two small
cups so that its taste is full-bodied and
awakens the mind.
He thinks the same goes for his
sculptures, so he always works with
the coffee maker at hand so as never
to forget it.
