Emmanuel Rodoreda
Born on Sunday, March 12, 1967, Emmanuel Rodoreda is a "fish" man. Of a naturally elusive sign, reality has little influence on him. He thinks of the whole before the detail, he has a sense of the essential, he grasps by intuition....
his story begins in Paris in the parental home. Father and mother are painters, both rebellious, engaged in the face of social-political problems. Real engines for a child eager to see everything, to understand everything about the universe around him, they give impetus to reality in order to awaken the artist!
And here we are! Emmanuel Rodoreda begins higher education at the Alençon art academy and lets himself be explained some artistic approaches to better elevate himself. During a competition on the wind festival, he decided to write the wind by sound, by setting up an infernal machine and won first prize! the catch of consciousness is radical, junk-art or assemblage art will have a real influence on him.
Every day he chews the news, watching for internal interferences, necessary for the realization of his works. He observes, appropriates, transcribes political, social and cultural news.
Like a chief editor, he proceeds in the spirit of the scenario, to the artistic and technical assembly of images, sound and recovered objects. Shared between his vision as a child and an adult, Rodoreda jokes or discusses seriously about the world.
A direct descendant of Jean Tiguely, Leonardo da Vinci, or even Nicolat Tesla, he stages an ingenious, surprising art, where we laugh, joke and discuss. Like a real puzzle, we assemble each element piece by piece before finding a meaning in it. A real treasure hunt.
The basis of my memory is a catalog of images, objects, where each thing can be questioned independently. It allows us to capture, code, store and restore the stimuli and information that we perceive
