Discover the contemporary work of ÈNÈF
Né à Mulhouse in 1968, I am deeply rooted in in my Alsatian culture and I am looking to learn more; transmit these values to my 24 year old daughter and my 20 year old son.
Former high-level athlete, today entrepreneur and painter, I am completely self-taught, and based my career in the arts. all my choices, firstly on human relationships, exchanges, sharing and co-construction.
The trials of life, separation, accidents, illness are catalysts which allowed me to develop, to learn wisdom, and to become “a transmitter” on a daily basis.
Today through my painting, my daily therapy, I wish to share emotions, sensations and a different look at art, food for the eyes and the emotions.
Confrontation à a personal test, I found myself at a loss. the crossroads. The pain inside was so strong that it could not be contained; it had to be expressed. The choice seemed simple: consult a psychologist or find another way to release this resentment that was consuming the soul.
It was then that painting entered the scene, not as a deliberate choice, but as a spontaneous revelation. A brush, a few colors, and at the beginning some blank canons became the silent confidants of an emotional storm. The first work was raw, sincere, a visual cry that begged to be seen. be heard.
À To everyone's surprise, this painting captured attention, touched hearts, and enjoyed immediate success. Encouraged by this unexpected welcome, I continued à paint, almost intentionally, each canvas becoming a chapter of my inner journey.
With each brush stroke, some of the resentment fades away, leaving room for more. a more nuanced palette of emotions. Painting became a therapy, an outlet, and ultimately, a liberation. What had begun as a means of survival became a passion, transforming wounds into beauty, pain into art.
And so, throughout the paintings, I found peace, not by seeking to forgetting, but learning to express and share the deepest part of my being.
