Very attracted by the warm colors of the Mediterranean, Françoise MIRAY (originally from Normandy) settled in the South of France, in NICE, in Provence Côte d'Azur. In 1985, she made a Photo Report in the United States, as part of a study trip. Passionate about photography for many years, she began exhibiting in Corsica in 1996, (where she lived for 5 years) then in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region - Gard, Hérault, Alpes Maritimes, Var, Auvergne.
