Artistic approach

NATURAL MYTHOLOGY

On the mounted papers where folds organize the space, the red ochres are deployed to accommodate the patterns and shapes, figures and symbols within the material itself. In a climate of sweetness, delicacy, tenderness, fleshy flowers, virile and horned deities, undulating sirens, bodies of naked and offered women emerge. Through the play of dilutions and transparencies, the support and the image blend together, complement each other, evoking cave art with its fabulous animals. A feeling reinforced by the absence of perspective and volume, the fluid simplicity of the outline of things, the fusion between the background and the subject. But it is not a question of hunting or game, because it is a question of a Garden of Eden, a lost paradise where vegetation and the body come to life from a common primordial source. /p>

A whole natural, dreamlike and poetic mythology, inhabited by divinely monstrous beings, mysterious flowers and foliage. Life throbs gently there, coming from far away, from very far away, from the origins, where ancestral emotions and eternal beauties are hidden.
