Native of the Paris region, and after a few years spent in Nice, I have been living in Périgord Vert since 2014 with my family. A self-taught photographer, I have worked on abstract photography for a long time, favoring detail over the overall view with, as a common thread in my approach, the work of time on material, wear and decay. The graphic aspect, predominant in all of my production, aims to distort the form to better question the content. I constantly question my work in order to offer each series a new approach to the subject covered. I like an image not to be obvious, forcing the viewer to pay particular attention to the subject that I offer them, to go beyond the image, to meet their own sensitivity. The photographic process is not limited to simply shooting a subject according to the rules of the art, from which I try to free myself as much as possible. The bias of a scenography must be embodied even in the choice of the frame, the format, and before them, the type of paper. Thus my series, in their final presentations, very frequently navigate the limits of painting, once again with the avowed aim of visually disturbing the viewer, but also of distracting them from the technical approach, too often put forward by the viewer. to distance yourself from your own emotion. My inspirations are both photographic, with Saudek (for the poetic beauty of his work), Gilbert Garcin (for the absence of creative limits of his universe), Jean-Paul Goude (for the precision of his aesthetic), as well as pictorial, Bacon (for his sensitive savagery), Caravaggio (for the genius of his lights), without forgetting cinema and music.
