Discover the contemporary work of Fred Soula
Since my adolescence I have practiced painting with oil, pastels and drawing. After studying art at University Michel de Montaigne from Bordeaux (techniques and history of art) I obtained a Masters in Plastic Arts in 1995. During this period, marked by the creation of collages and paintings, I practiced painting. modeling and sculpture on cellular concrete, creating objects inspired by primitive art (totems, animals) and architecture (towers, castles). In 2006, I followed training with the Compagnons (FCMB) in order to deepen my technique of sculpture and ornamentation on stone, and to enrich my style, both figurative and abstract. My work is part of both in creation and tradition, and I revisit in my own way, both classical styles (antiquity, medieval art, renaissance) and modern styles (abstraction...) Today, after several years of practicing sculpture, I pass it on to others. through courses and internships my know-how and my passion those who want to practice this art.
