Né à Rennes in 1975, I have been a photographer for over 20 years and a member of the Divergence Collective. Coming from a background in Biology, I chose to branch out out of passion into the field of Biology. from 1998.
My family bathed in for several generations in photography, perhaps concerned with memory and transmission. My maternal great-grandparents ran a photography business in the south of France. Vence around 1910 and a great uncle also had a printing press in Cameroon. Yaounde around 1900. Side paternal, my great-great-grandparents ran the Hôtel des Voyageurs in 1872 in Algeria (Oued-Amizour).
In 2009, I followed a photojournalism training course at EMI-CFD in Paris. My research evolves between author photography, documentary/social/sociological reporting and sometimes journalistic and allows me to find a balance as a human and professional being. I develop photography linked to travel and nature. the notion of geographical and human territory.
Using digital or silver depending on the subjects, I seek to associate an idea with something aesthetics. I photograph humans but also their fears, their anxieties and their happiness. These moments of stories constitute the framework of my images and sometimes intertwine with mine. Traces, the memory of Men, the passing of time, are for me notions that question me.
I also produce various reports on my travels to Nepal (street children, women burned by domestic violence, cremations...), Peru, India, Belize ;nin, Laos, Haiti (refugee camps, voodoo...), but also on my close entourage: travelers, elderly and disabled people, autism, homeless... I went to Haiti in 2011 to bear witness to the 2010 earthquake, then to Nepal, 10 days after the 2015 earthquake. the edition of the book « NEPAL, a book to help » of which profits have been made. donated for reconstruction and education.
Norman photographer for over 20 years, I specialized in photography. among other things, in images of abandoned places, called "urbex", with styles borrowed from theater, cinema or even video games, since 2005. In 2019, I’ I wanted to offer another aesthetic. I like the old, traces, objects, cabinets of curiosities, recycling. My questioning remains, in part, linked to to mourning. I started several series, one of which offers images fixed to each other. recycled media. I make reference in this work entitled "Forgotten World", in time, memory, the environment, travel, dreams, poetry and the intimate.
