Discover the contemporary work of Frédérique CHABIN-RIVIERE

I have been painting since my childhood, having grown up near the ocean where I live. I draw in a sharp breath. Different artistic encounters have made my art evolve towards contemporary abstraction in mixed techniques over the past ten years or so. Natural materials, resin, gold leaf and fine stones come together mainly on canvas. This technique, quite marginalized, has earned me several awards and the opportunity to exhibit in prestigious fairs (e.g. Les Invalides Paris), national and international galleries (Berlin, Belgium, and several galleries in South Korea)

Through the materials, resin, gold leaf and fine stones,  I am looking for several sets of lights,  by the shine and shadows generated. The movements and colors used will create an atmosphere that I always hope is positive, whether zen or energetic. Please note that the wellness stones that I use are always placed on the resin in order to preserve their natural shine and their energies.
