Discover the contemporary work of Frida Narin
Born in 1983 in Mariwan, Iranian Kurdistan, Frida Narin is a French artist of Kurdish origin, multidisciplinary, writer, poet and painter. She began her artistic career in 1997 and graduated in visual arts.
She has published four books, including her first collection of poetry in 2004, entitled Le Silence Gris, a poignant work that mixes her observations on war, revolution and human pain. After emigrating In France in 2009, she continued her artistic and literary work. In 2015, she published But I! Neither a product of love nor pleasure. In 2024, she published two more books: Les douleur des maux and Les éclats de liberté, which deepen her exploration of the human condition and the struggles for freedom.
Her artistic approach is a mix of expressionism, symbolism and surrealism, styles that allow her to capture the intense emotions and inner struggles of women, her main subjects. Through her paintings and drawings, she explores many emotions.
